What Else is there to know about Khufus Pyramids?

Some people beleived Khufus pyramids were built by slaves, but they were really built by regular working people like you and me.Mainly the farmers though, because during flood season it was impossible to farm, so they helped.also it was known that Khufu feed and clothed the people fairly that helped him.(Wich is a right thing to do unlike some of the mean hateful people in the world today.)The 3 pyramids in Giza had a ajoining mortuary temple, attached to the temple would have been a descending covered causeway leading to a valley temple neer the Nile(Wow its amazing how they took pride in all the work they did). Also for over 4,000 years until the modern age Khufus Great pyramid at Giza was the tallest building in the world.

The Burial Place Of Khufu

Khufu was buried in the 3 chamber of his pyramid, which was held in a red granite sarcophagus at the center of the pyramid.(Wow could you imagine going through the trouble of carrying a dead person all the way through a pyramid just to sit him down and walk away? Not me.)Also his chamber is accesed in the 26 foot grand gallery, wich was sealed off from theives by sliding granite block systems.

Whats left of Khufu?

From what weve found so far their is very little left to show of Khufu, wich is sad beings how succesful of a Pharaoh he was.anyways the only things left are,a ivory statue of Khufu, and 2 momentous found near his Great Pyramid, they were, a boat pit with a full sized intact ship contained within, and the tomb of Khufus mother(Hetepheres),containing furniture of great quality and design.

What Khufu was known for doing and makeing in his reign.

Khufu and his siblings were highly known for their amazing pyramids that they built.Khufus son Khafre joined their pyramids in Giza that he made between(2520-2494) B.C. Then Khufus grandson made a smaller but imposing pyramid between(2490-2472)B.C..Wwwowww!!,im definately seeing that this family had a serious absession with pyramids LOL!!!!The even crazier thing is that betwween the three of them they used a average of 41% of the total mass of stone, and a estimated 20 to 30,000 people helped build these pyramids and it took about 20 years to build them.

Khufu as Pharaoh in the 4 dynasty.

Khufu began rule about 2551 B.C.=(long time ago).Khufu was known for his pyramid building. This makes since because there wasnt to much to be known for back then.Boring age in time if you ask me because I think it would be booooring to waste my life makeing pyramids everyday all day. Eanyways Khufu was in power/reign for a little over 24 years,Can you imagine that?Thats alot different from the leaders in our country, and their 8 year max of being in power. The things that khufu did in his reign from(2589-2566) B.C. has brought the city of Giza lasting fame.
